Charles is a first-class construction barrister, with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, called to the Bar of England and Wales by Middle Temple in 2002, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), a member of the Joint Contracts Tribunal Council (the JCT Council), a member of the Technology and Construction Bar Association (TECBAR), a member of the Centre for Sustainable Governance and Law in the Built Environment at University College London (UCL) and a graduate of the University of Cambridge (Departments of Engineering and Architecture) and Centre of Construction Law at King’s College London.
